#1 – Colin Marczely RB
Colin is entering his 4th year as a Red Raider after playing 5 years of Silver Bullets. Colin’s favorite football memory is when his team beat Falmouth in their Thanksgiving Day game in 2019. Colin plans to study Civil Engineering in college and possibly continue playing football. He wants to thank his parents and three sisters for their support through his football career.
#3 – CJ Joyce LB
This is CJ’s eleventh year of football. He started in the second grade with the Barnstable Silver Bullets. He continued to play all four years at BHS as a proud Red Raider. CJ was selected as a Captain for his Senior year. He also played lacrosse as a Sophomore and Junior. CJ is a member of the National Honor Society. CJ’s favorite football memory was when he was Peewee and played in back to back Super Bowls. After high school, CJ plans on attending a four year college to study Business. He would like to thank his family for their encouragement and involvement in his athletics, his coaches for their support and guidance, and his teammates for the many awesome memories.
#5-Michael O’Shaughnessy DE
Michael is beginning his fourth season as a Red Raider after playing one year of Silver Bullets. He has been selected as a Captain for his Senior year. Michael’s favorite football memory is when he scored his first touchdown in Silver Bullets and spiked the football. After high school he plans on attending Massachusetts Maritime Academy to study Marine Engineering. He is very thankful for his family, coaches, and teammates for pushing him to be the man he is today.
#7 – Nolan Arrascue DB
Nolan is entering his ninth year as a Barnstable football player. He played five seasons as a Bullet and is beginning his fourth as a Raider. His favorite memory in football was beating Xaverian the first game of his Junior season. Nolan will be attending trade school after high school and is thankful for his family and friends for everything they have done to make him who he is today.
#8 – Joseph Laber LB
Joe is beginning his fourth year as a Red Raider after playing six years of Silver Bullets football. Joe’s favorite football memory is when he scored his first touchdown as a Red Raider Freshman against B-R. After high school, Joe plans on going to college to study Fire Science. He would like to thank his Dad for all of the support and motivation he gave him and for always having his brother by his side to compete with. He also would like to thank his Mom, sister, and grandparents for always cheering him on and being at every game.
#9 – Matt Laverty WR
Matt will be entering his tenth year as a football player after playing 6 with the Silver Bullets and now beginning his fourth with the high school program. He is also a four year member of the Varsity Lacrosse team. Matt’s favorite football memory is from his second year as a Peewee in Silver Bullets when his team had a comeback in a snow game win against Raynham in the playoffs. Matt will be attending Bridgton Academy next year where he will continue his lacrosse career in hopes of playing for college and studying Exercise Science. Matt would like to thank all of his friends, coaches, and family for all the memories and support throughout the years.
#14 – Marvin Domino DB
Marvin is beginning his third year of football as a Red Raider. He’s also a member of the Varsity Basketball team. His favorite football memory is when he caught his first pick versus Falmouth in the 2019 Thanksgiving game. Marvin plans on attending a four year college for Nursing while continuing to play basketball or football for the school.
#15 – Danilson Cheron WR
Danilson has played three years with the Silver Bullets and is going into his third year as a Red Raider. Danilson’s favorite football memory was as a Peewee making his first tackle in a game. Danilson plans on studying business and film production in college. He is very thankful for the love his friends and family have shown him throughout the years.
#28 – Dakarie McGillveary DB
Dakarie is a four year Silver Bullet and a three year Red Raider. He is a member of the BHS winter and spring track teams. His favorite football memories are when his team beat Bridgewater-Raynham his Freshman year, and taking a team picture with Coach Dumas. Dakarie is thankful that he is back playing his Senior year on the football team after missing his Junior year. He is also thankful for his family for their nonstop love and support.
#36 – Aidan McGowan WR
Aiden has played football for eight years. His favorite football memories are winning the Peewee Super Bowl for the Silver Bullets and anytime there’s a win against Falmouth. Aiden has also been playing Volleyball for the past five years, four of which have been for the Varsity team. He will miss the brothers and teammates he has made throughout the years. Aiden would like to thank his Mother and Father along with his two brothers for their endless support along this journey. He would also like to thank all the coaches he has had the pleasure of playing under for the lessons on and off the field.
#38 – Jamahli Barton RB
Jahmali, a running back, is beginning his second season with BHS football. He has played football in Florida for three years before coming to Barnstable. Jahmali’s favorite football memory playing with the Barnstable football team was when they went to the playoffs. He would like to thank his brother, friends, and teammates for all the joy and fun he has had.
#52 – James Baird LB
James is in his fourth year as a Red Raider after playing six years with the Silver Bullets. James’s favorite football memory is the snowy playoff game against Raynham as a second year Peewee. After high school he plans on attending a four year college to study Criminal Justice and become a Police Officer. James would like to thank his siblings, Parker and Elizabeth, and his Mom and Dad for their endless support over the years. He would also like to say a special thanks to Coach Richie Maddox, who believed in him right from the start and pushed him to be the best version of himself every day when he was younger. May He Rest In Peace.
#55 – Ethan (Brew) Brewer DL
Ethan, a defensive lineman, has played eight years of Barnstable football; four as a Silver Bullet and four as a Red Raider. His favorite football memory is when he played scout defense as a Midget and chirped the offense on every play at practice. He plans on attending Plymouth State University to study Physical Education. Ethan would like to thank his Mom, Dad, two siblings, and his friends that made him stay with football throughout the years.
#58 – Owen Bright OL
Owen has played four years of Barnstable Football and one year of Silver Bullets. Owen’s favorite football memory was the first fumble he recovered playing defensive end for the Freshman team. Owen plans to attend UMass Amherst to study Mechanical Engineering. He would like to thank his friends, family, and teammates for their support.
#65 – Brenden Dowling OL
Brenden is entering his tenth year as a Barnstable football player. He played six seasons as a Silver Bullet and is beginning his fourth as a Red Raider. Brenden, who has been elected Captain for the season, is proud to say he will be attending Bentley University in the fall of 2021 to continue his academic and football careers. His favorite football memory is when his Peewee team won the Super Bowl. He is a gold medal winning Powerlifter and currently holds the BHS Bench Press record. Brenden is a scholar in the classroom as he holds memberships in the Spanish National Honor Society, Math National Honor Society and the National Honor Society. He is very thankful for his loving family, his coaches, and all of his friends who have helped him to become the person he is today.
#76 – Michael Fedele OL
Michael has five years of Barnstable Football and three years of Silver Bullets under his belt. Michael’s favorite football memory is recovering a fumble and scoring a touchdown in a Peewee game in Middleborough. He is a member of the B.H.S. Weight Room Elite Club having achieved entrance into each of the Elite Lifting Clubs (515+ Deadlift Club, 500+ Squat Club and 315+ Bench Club). After high school he plans to attend Massachusetts Maritime Academy and continue his football career there. Michael would like to thank all of his teammates, friends, and family members for supporting him and making him the person he is today.
Tia has been on the Varsity Cheer team for 4 years and this is her second year as a Captain. For the past 3 years she has coached the Silver Bullet Mites Cheer team. Tia also does competitive cheer year round. Her favorite cheer memory is the bus rides to and from games and competitions because everyone would be singing and laughing and it created a great bond between the team. Next year she plans to go to college and study Marine Science. Tia would like to thank her family members for all the support throughout her cheerleading career. She would also like to thank all her coaches throughout the years for making cheerleading such a great experience for her. Without them she would not be the person she is today with the love for cheerleading and the leadership skills she has learned.
Amy has been on the Varsity Cheerleading team for five years. She has been elected captain for her Senior year. When she tried out in eighth grade she had never done Cheer before and was so happy to make it on the team. Her favorite cheer memory is in eight grade when the team made it to Regionals for the first time in a while. Everyone was so happy and it was such an exciting moment! In the future, Amy wants to go into Nursing. She would like to thank Coach Rach for always knowing her potential and believing in her.
Nicole has been cheerleading on and off for eight years. Starting off on a competition team, then a Silver Bullet Midget, then at Barnstable High School. Her favorite memory is having team dinners together and getting closer to her teammates. Next year she plans to go to college to study Athletic Training. Nicole would like to thank her teammates for all the amazing memories and friendships she created throughout the years.
