The Quarterback Club has been supporting Raider Football since 1967 and its mission is to provide our student-athletes with the best possible football experience. This club is made up of volunteers who spend countless hours making sure that our student-athletes receive just that. As our seniors graduate their parents also graduate. And this means that there will be board positions available and volunteers to continue supporting Raider Football. Please make that commitment to Raider Football to continue the tradition of supporting out team and attend our next meeting.

The Annual Parade and Pep Rally is on Wednesday, 11/27, at 1:00 PM and volunteers are need in order to make this event great. A parade meeting will be scheduled soon and that information will be posted.

Thank you, Meg Chaffee

Red Raiders Steamroll Marshfield

Hayden Murphy saved the best overall game of his four-year high school career for Friday night.

Murphy’s 195 yards on 20 carries and four touchdowns made for the most yards gained by him in his high school career in a single game and his four TDs were also a personal best.

Fellow senior running back Justus Chaffee was equally impressive. Chaffee carried the ball 10 times for 147 yards rushing and two touchdowns on runs of 50 and 48 yards. Chaffee’s 147 yards were a career high.

Senior QB Kristian Lucashensky scored as well. Clyde Perry Jr., a junior linebacker, notched his first career interception while playing for Barnstable High. Senior defensive end Conor Walsh notched his first career fumble recovery.

Murphy’s 195 yards makes his tally the 20th best all-time game for a running back in Barnstable High’s 121 years of varsity football. It was also a career-best performance for the senior co-captain. Barnstable’s 48 points also set a new school record for most points scored in a postseason game by the Red Raiders.
