The Barnstable High School Quarterback Club is holding it’s Initial Meeting for the 2017 football season on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 6:30 PM in the Main Cafeteria.
The Quarterback Club will be reviewing open Board of Director positions. If you are interested in volunteering, now is the time! Several Senior Parent Board of Directors are retiring, so there are several wonderful opportunities available.
Come join us! We work hard, but this is a fun group. Many hands make light work!

Sacred Heart University Head Football Coach Mark Nofri announced 20 commitments to the Pioneers’ Class of 2021 on National Signing Day Wednesday. Among those signing on to the SHU Pioneers football team is Barnstable High School Red Raider 2016 Alumni Wide Receiver Nate Balthazard. He will major in Finance.
Honored with the 2015 Kevin A. Houston Memorial Award and a 2014 and 2015 Old Colony League Football All-Star for his play as a Wide Receiver, Nate is also an accomplished basketball player. While at Barnstable High School, Nate was honored as a 2014, 2015, and 2016 Old Colony League All-Star for his outstanding play at Point Guard. Upon graduation, Nate attended his post-graduate year at Williston Northampton School where he was All-Erikson League selection for football.
At Sacred Heart University, Nate Balthazard will be in great company. His Wide Receiver Coach will be none other than Barnstable High School Red Raider alumni Andre Barboza-Penn.
Nate is the son of Karen Crocker of Centerville and Roy Balthazard of Osterville. Football is in Nate’s blood. His proud grandfather is Barnstable High School Red Raider Hall of Famer Carlton Crocker of Centerville.

Jack Kennedy, Football Captain, Old Colony League All-Star, Jean G. Hinkle Memorial Athletic Award recipient, and three-year letterman has accepted a full athletic and academic scholarship at Bentley University. Jack will major in business and will become an offensive lineman for the Bentley University Falcons football team.
Jack is an outstanding defensive end and left tackle. A versatile and powerful lineman, he also played left guard and defensive tackle sophomore year. Let’s just say this. Jack is a STRONG man. He is a member of the BHS Half-ton, yes HALF TON, weightlifting club, which combines the weight of the deadlift, bench press, and front squat.
Beyond Jack’s football accomplishments, Jack is a BHS Old Colony League baseball all-star, lettering every year since freshman year. He also plays baseball for Team Cape Cod and played in the World Series in Ephrata, Washington this summer.
An excellent athletic scholar, Jack is a member of the BHS National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society.
Jack’s older brother Chris is a former BHS Football Captain. His younger brother Max plays offensive and defensive lines for the BHS Freshmen team. Jack’s proud parents are John and Stacey Kennedy of Marstons Mills.
