Barnstable Red Raider “Players of the Game” for the fantastic Senior Night Varsity October 20th “nail-biter” of Barnstable vs. Dartmouth have been announced by MAXPREPS.

Overall Player of the Game: #8 SAM ROSEN, Wide Receiver/ Defensive Back 

“Sam Rosen turned in one of the best receiving games in years for the Red & White with 18 catches and 189 yards including a 78-yard touchdown reception. He added 122 yards on kickoff returns and was equally stellar on defense.”

Offensive Player of the Game: #16 MATT PETERCUSKIE, Quarterback

“Junior QB Matt Petercuskie turned in the 5th best passing game in school history with 376 yards in the air and went 28-42 with no interceptions while also rushing for the game’s first score from five yards out and throwing two more TDs.”

Defensive Player of the Game: #11 MATT FREDO, Wide Receiver/ Defensive Back

“Defensive back Matt Fredo all totaled had 15 tackles on the night — 7 solo and 8 assisted for his best effort of the season.”

Special Teams Player of the Game: #10 COLBY BURKE, Tight End/ Defensive End

“Colby Burke turned in six total tackles on the night and had one hurry in the backfield while adding a key two-point conversion run.”
